Augusto Quattrino
Born in Bologna in 1941. Graduated at l’Istituto d’Arte
di Bologna, worked for Anonima Castelli / Castelli Spa office furnitures
company, finally being in charge of R & D division. During these
years he has developed many projects for the production of some famous
design masterpiece as “Box“ chair by E. Mari, “Penelope”
armchair by Pollock, “Vertair” armchair by E. Ambasz and
“dalle 9 alle 5” office furnitures system by R. Sapper.
\n\nIn 1993 started the collaboration with Modular Srl developing a
new office furnitures system “Dream Space” designed by Denis
Santachiara. Starting the same year, he has developed the production
of the prototypes for all the items of Domodinamica collection. In 2002
he has designed the relax armchair “Popi Pop” and footbar
“Popi Pop” for Domodinamica collection. |
